Competition program consists of 12 contests.


Each contest consists of competitive categories. Winners (GOLD, SILVER, BRONZE) and finalists (SHORTLIST) are determined in each category. One (1) winner is determined in each contest and awarded for BEST OF CONTEST.


The number of the winners and finalists is not limited. The jury has the right not to award prizes because of the non-compliance to evaluation criteria. The jury may decide to award the special prizes in some cases.


According to results of all contests of the official program, the Chairmen of Jury will determine the best advertising entry of the Festival, which will be awarded the FESTIVAL GRAND PRIX .


FESTIVAL GRAND PRIX will be chosen from the BEST OF CONTEST of each contest or from the GOLD winners of each contest. FESTIVAL GRAND PRIX is awarded independently of it.


If the winner gets the title of the best entry of the competition, as well as this or that award, in addition, this entry gets all awards, but the reward points are not cumulative.


Trophies of Kyiv International Advertising Festival will be given to the GOLD winners, BEST OF CONTEST and FESTIVAL GRAND PRIX . Silver, Bronze and Shortlisted entries will receive diplomas.


Trophies will be given to the entrants. Duplicate trophies can be purchased by other participating parties after the Festival. Diplomas will be given also to the entrants after the Festival 


To conclude the results of the contest, we are compiling the list of participants with their respective points and contest awards. The Best Agency of the Festival is given to the agency that takes the first place.


The victory, prize, reaching the final or a Special Jury Prize (not applicable for special prizes from our partners and sponsors) bring the following points:


Special Jury Prize – 1 point


SHORTLIST — 2 points


BRONZE — 4 points


SILVER — 6 points


GOLD — 8 points


BEST OF CONTEST — 10 points




Note: The sum of points for production companies are determined in such way:

1) points that are received by production company who submitted entries to the contest program; 2) points that are received by production company that was mentioned by another agency that submitted entry (in this case the production company should be registred as the entrant of KIAF as well). Points for FILM CRAFT and FILM categories are counted.


The victory in contest "L. Marketing Innovation" brings the additional points for advertisers into ranking Marketing Teams 2020:

GOLD — 8 points


BEST OF CONTEST — 10 points
